Hugo Bastidas’s solo exhibition at the Mattatuck Museum of Art, in Waterbury, CT, opened August 14 and will run through mid-October. The show focuses on Bastidas’s recent series “Metamorphosis” in which he uses “depictions of water, passageways, and windows into space to indicate change.” Bastidas also has a show of the works he produced during a six-week stay at Maison Verte Artists Residency in Marnay sur Seine, France.
