Observations & Impressions: An Artist’s Sketchbook is a privately printed 150-page book filled with nearly 200 drawings and paintings created between 1942 and 2017 by Everett Raymond Kinstler. You can see a preview here[2]. Barnes & Noble and Amazon will begin carrying the book in April. Kinstler was also recently recognized as the only artist to have eight US Presidents sit for a portrait. “The art of the conversation is as much a part of his toolkit as his well-worn paints and brushes,” notes journalist Anne Quito in “The Art of Conversation, Explained by the Only Artist to Get Eight US Presidents to Sit Still,”[3] an article just posted on the news website Quartz.
