Knox Martin: Three Fall Exhibitions

Knox Martin’s paintings will be appearing in three group exhibitions this fall. Woman is part of the exhibition Art in the Makingwhich is open now through October 15 at the Reading Public Museum (Reading, PA).

Martin’s canvas Crucifixion will appear in Woodward Gallery Decades, which opens at the Woodward Gallery (133 Eldridge St NYC) on September 12 and continues through October 24, 2015. An opening reception has been scheduled for September 12, from 6 to 8 p.m.

At Pan American Modernism: Avant-Garde Art in Latin America and the United States Martin will exhibit Untitled (1962). This exhibition, which originated at the Lowe Art Museum, opens at the Art Gallery at the University of St. Joseph (West Hartford, CT) on September 24 and continues through December 20, 2015. From there, it will travel to its third venue, the Weatherspoon Art Museum at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, from January 24, 2016 through April 17, 2016.
