“Trees for me are a metaphor of the human condition,” says Sylvie Covey. “We are both unique and infinite in our freedom to grow, exist, coexist, share the earth and the sun and the water.” Trees of Dreams and Wonder: Pigment Transfers on Paper is a solo exhibition of Covey’s work opening at Ditra Gallery (226 East 83rd Street, NYC) on April 15 and continuing through April 30, 2015. An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. Ditra Gallery is open every day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
