Peter Reginato at Findlay Galleries, Palm Beach

“The common wisdom in the art world today suggests that in order to make an important statement, an artist must take as much out as possible, thereby creating something that is empty. I want to do the opposite. I want to make art as full as possible. The only thing I took out of my work was realism. I saw greater possibilities in abstraction”

Peter Reginato

Peter Reginato’s premier exhibition at Findlay Galleries, in Palm Beach, FL, was celebrated with a cocktail reception on November 25, 2017. Findlay published a lush catalogue of his enamel paintings from the show, Peter Reginato: Contemporary Abstract PainterReginato’s Cassanova Brown, a sculpture installed in front of the Lever Building on Old Country Road, in Mineoloa, Long Island, piqued the curiosity of Dr. Tom Ferraro who wrote a short article about it for the newspaper The Island Now.
