As part of the “Conversations Among Painters” series, Catherine Redmond [2] organized an informal evening talk on October 3 with fellow Pratt professors Hannah Barrett[1], Nancy Grimes[2], and Frank Lind[3] to discuss the ideas of the mysterious Balthus. Balthus: Cats and Girls—Paintings and Provocations [3] is on view at Metropolitan Museum through January 12, 2014.
