I do love someone with really good technical skills—someone who can draw the figure like nobody’s business always gets my attention, but then, of course, they need content to back that up.
I was immediately drawn to monotypes because they are very close to painting. Monotypes have a quality all their own, a freshness and spontaneity.
I started Berlin Collective because there wasn’t an international artist network platform, and there seemed to be a great need for this to promote international discourse and advancement in the arts.
