Paintings and drawings by many Art Students League instructors, past and present, are included in Robert Zeller’s forthcoming The Figurative Artist’s Handbook: A Contemporary Guide to Figure Drawing, Painting, and Composition, including Steven Assael, George Bellows, Thomas Hart Benton, George Bridgman, Sherry Camhy, Nelson Shanks, Sharon Sprung, Dan Thompson, and Jason Yarmosky.

 A “practical how-to guide” of technical instruction for both beginning and advanced artists, this three-hundred page volume will be released March 28, 2017.
